My understanding of the serial numbers were that they are all "unique" for one thing...
Then they are also a date of manafacture and a batch code (In case of frame failure) So Yes, I would agree that this bike was punched out and welded up in 2004. However its geometry, travel, link plates, colour etc. are all 2005... Eitherway, It is a bargain from any point. KF |

You can tell by the rocker plates and fork decals. |
